Dr. Michele Morganstern, PHD

      Dr. Morganstern is a highly experienced healthcare provider with more than two decades of hands-on experience in clinical psychology. She is known for her individualized treatment plans, ensuring each patient gets care tailored to their needs. Compassionate and understanding, she creates a supportive environment where effective healing occurs.

      When it comes to treatment methodologies, Dr. Morganstern employs a blend of evidence-based approaches, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This integrative model allows her to address a wide range of issues effectively. She is committed to staying at the forefront of her field. She regularly updates her skills and knowledge to provide current treatments.

      Her educational background is just as impressive as her practical experience. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the prestigious  Barnard College of Columbia University. She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from St. John’s University, where she honed her skills at the Center for Psychological Services. Further, she completed three additional years of specialized training at The  Zucker Hillside Hospital and Cohen Children’s Hospital both part of Northwell Health.

      Post-education, Dr. Morganstern gathered extensive experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and mental health issues, known as dual-diagnosis. She has also been part of specialized group practices that treat anxiety and eating disorders.
